A fun wedding video with AI puts the couple, or the friends who love them, into a famous scene: a movie dance, a music video, a meme they always quote. You pick the clip, add one photo per person, and AI swaps them in while the moves, camera, lighting and sound stay as in the original. In vswp that takes a video from Trends or one you upload, and usually a few minutes per video, so there is time to make several before the big day.
Why make a wedding video with AI?
Wedding films take weeks, and most wedding greetings look alike. A short AI video is quick, personal and easy to show: on the screen at the reception, in the group chat the morning after, or as a surprise from the friends who couldn't come. It doesn't replace the real wedding film; it adds a laugh or a moment that only this couple would get.
Ideas for the couple
- A save-the-date. The two of you in a famous movie scene, sent to guests with the date in the message.
- "Our song" as a music video. The song from your first date or your first dance, with you two as the couple in its video.
- The first dance before the first dance. Put yourselves into a well-known dance scene and play it right before you dance for real.
- A thank-you for the guests. After the wedding, send everyone a short clip of the two of you in a happy finale.

Ideas for the guests and friends
- The couple as movie heroes. Friends pick the couple's favorite film and swap the bride and groom into its best-known moment.
- The wedding party in a dance trend. The bridesmaids or the groomsmen in one dance scene from Trends, one photo each.
- A greeting from far away. Friends who can't come send a video of themselves in a scene the couple loves, so they are "there" anyway.
- Before and after. One clip of the couple in a chaotic comedy scene, then one in a calm romantic scene, played back to back.
- The toast with a twist. The best man or maid of honor ends the speech with a short clip of the couple in their inside joke.

How many people can be in one video?
One video can use up to 6 different photos, one per person. Everyone without a photo stays as in the original, so in a crowd scene only the people you choose change. For a larger wedding party, make two or three short videos, each with its own small group, and play them one after another. Our guide to swapping a whole group of friends into one video shows how to assign photos to people.
Which photos should you use?
For each person, one sharp photo of that person alone, in good light, with the whole face visible and no sunglasses. Then choose "Keep the original look":
- On. The clothes from the scene stay, and only faces and hair change. Best when the scene already has a dress, suits or costumes you want to keep. A clear portrait is enough.
- Off. Clothes, hair and silhouette come from your photos. Use this to bring in the real wedding dress or suit, and use a full-body photo, because a portrait cannot show clothing it doesn't contain.
A photo from the engagement shoot or the fitting often works well. The full checklist is in which photos work best for an AI video swap.
How do you make it, step by step?
- Start a week or so early. Each video takes minutes, but you may want another take or a second idea.
- Sign in. Open vswp.app and sign in with Telegram. There's no password, and the couple doesn't need an account.
- Pick the scene. Choose a video from Trends, where the people are already found, or upload your own: 1 to 120 seconds, up to 150 MB, any common format. The person search runs on the first 30 seconds automatically, usually in a couple of minutes, and it's free. In a longer video, choose another part of up to 30 seconds.
- Add the photos to the cards of the people they should replace. Main people come first; people seen briefly or far away are grouped as the background.
- Set the look with "Keep the original look".
- Check the free preview. If you haven't used yours, "Make the free preview" shows about 5 seconds at 480p with a small "vswp.app" mark.
- Make the full video. Check the estimated time and the price, choose 480p or 720p, and press "Create the full video". Paid videos have no mark.
- Watch it before the wedding. If a face looks off, pressing "Create video" again makes a new take, which is a new render.
How do you show it at the wedding?
You get an MP4 of the processed part, up to 30 seconds, with the original sound. vswp doesn't add text, so add a title or names in your phone's video editor if you want them.
- Test the screen. Play the file on the venue's screen or projector before the guests arrive, with the sound on.
- Pick the moment. Right after the toasts or before the first dance works better than during dinner.
- Keep it short. Two or three short clips land better than one long montage.
- Give a copy to the couple. Send them the MP4 so they can keep it.
What about consent?
Ask before you use anyone's photo. For a surprise for the couple, check with someone close to them, like a sibling or the maid of honor, that they would enjoy it, and keep it private until it's shown. Ask the couple before posting it publicly. Pressing "Create video" confirms you have the right to use the video and the photos. Rules differ by country, and this is not legal advice; in the EU, the AI Act's disclosure rule for deepfakes applies from August 2026, so label the video as AI-made if you publish it. More in face swap consent and safety.
How much does it cost?
The free preview costs nothing. The full video is paid in Telegram Stars (⭐). The price depends on the length, the quality and the number of people you replace, and the exact price is shown before you start. Stars are taken when a render starts and returned automatically if it fails or is canceled.
FAQ
Can I swap the bride and groom into a famous movie scene?
Yes, if you have the right to use the clip and the couple is happy with it. Add a photo of each of them to the cards of the two people in the scene; everyone else stays as in the original.
Will the real wedding dress show up in the video?
Only if you turn "Keep the original look" off and use a full-body photo of the dress. With it on, the clothes from the scene stay and only faces and hair change.
Can I make a wedding video on my phone?
Yes. vswp works in the browser on phones and computers, and on a phone you can share the finished MP4 straight to Telegram and other apps.
How long can the video be?
Each result is the processed part of up to 30 seconds, with the original sound. For a longer show, make several clips and play them in a row.
