You can recreate a trending video with your friends without filming anything: give each person in the original clip a friend's photo, and AI generates a new version in which your friends make the same moves to the same sound. In vswp, you pick a video from Trends or upload your own, add up to 6 different photos, and typically get an MP4 to post or send within minutes.

What can you recreate with friends?

Almost any clip with clearly visible people, for example:

  • TikTok, Reels and Shorts trends. Do a TikTok trend with friends without learning the dance: the moves and the original sound stay.
  • Memes. Put friends in a meme video or a reaction clip your group chat keeps quoting.
  • Movie and TV scenes. Cast your friends in a scene everyone knows.
  • Birthday surprises. Make the birthday person the star of their favorite scene.
  • Couple and group videos. Swap both partners into a romantic scene, or up to six friends into one clip.

The quickest start is Trends: popular videos with the people already found and ready for photos.

How do you pick a video that works well?

Choose a clip where a few people are clearly visible, the camera is calm, and the moment you want fits in 30 seconds.

  • Not too many tiny people. Those seen only briefly or far away are grouped as the background, and very brief or heavily blurred ones may not be found.
  • A part of up to 30 seconds. The person search covers the first 30 seconds automatically. In a longer upload (up to 120 seconds), you can choose another part of up to 30 seconds, which becomes your result.
  • A cast that fits your group. A video can use up to 6 different photos, and anyone without a photo stays as in the original.
Works well Harder to get right
A few main people, large in the frame Crowds and many tiny people in the background
Faces visible most of the time Faces covered by hands, hair or props
A steady or slow camera Very fast camera motion

The camera stays as in the original, so start from a vertical video for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

How to recreate a trend with friends, step by step

  1. Collect photos. Ask each friend for a recent photo of just them, in JPEG, PNG or WebP. If they should wear their own clothes, ask for a full-body shot.
  2. Sign in. Open vswp.app and sign in with Telegram.
  3. Pick the video. Choose one from Trends, or upload your own and wait for the person search, which usually takes a couple of minutes.
  4. Assign the photos. Add a friend's photo to the card of each person you want to replace.
  5. Choose the look. Turn "Keep the original look" on or off.
  6. Start the render. Choose 480p or 720p, check the estimated time and the price, and press "Create video".
  7. Share it. Download the MP4 or send it from your phone.

How do you assign friends' photos?

Every person vswp finds gets a card, and a friend's photo on a card casts that friend in the role. The main people come first, then the background group.

  • Leave a card empty to keep that person as in the original, such as strangers in the background.
  • Before you start, check that every photo is on the right card.

Matching outfits or everyone's own clothes?

With "Keep the original look" on, the clothes stay as in the video and only faces and hair change. That's handy for matching dance outfits or costumes. With it off, each friend's clothes and hair come from their photo, so full-body photos matter: a portrait can't show clothing it doesn't contain. More in which photos work for an AI video swap.

How do you share the result?

You get an MP4 of the processed part, up to 30 seconds, at 480p or 720p with the original audio, so the trend's sound stays. The frame rate follows the source, up to about 30 fps.

Download the file, or on a phone use the share sheet to send it to Telegram, stories and other apps.

Friends who want their own versions can join through your personal invite link: when an invited friend tops up for the first time, you both get bonus Stars.

What does it cost?

Prices are in Telegram Stars (⭐) and depend on the length, the quality and the number of people you replace. The exact price is shown before you start. Stars are taken when a render starts and returned automatically if it fails or is canceled.

You can start with a free preview: about 5 seconds of the video at 480p, with a small vswp.app mark. Your first paid video is 50% off. See how to try an AI video face swap for free.

Do you need your friends' permission?

Yes. Ask before you use anyone's photo, and ask again before you post the result where strangers will see it. Pressing "Create video" confirms that you have the right to use the video and the photos. Face swap consent and safety explains more, and how to put yourself into any video with AI covers the solo version.

FAQ

How many friends can I put in one video?

Up to six. A video can use up to 6 different photos, and everyone without a photo stays as in the original.

Do my friends need an account?

No. Only the person making the video signs in with Telegram. Your friends just send a photo and agree to its use.

Will the trend's music stay in the video?

Yes. The result keeps the original audio of the part you processed.

Can I use a whole TikTok or a long movie scene?

You can upload up to 120 seconds and 150 MB, but each new video covers one part of up to 30 seconds. For a longer scene, pick its key moment.

What if one friend doesn't look like themselves?

Press "Create video" again for a new take. If that doesn't help, get a sharper photo of just them, or pick a part where their character is larger and less covered.
