To put you and your partner into a romantic movie scene, pick a clip where two people are clearly visible, add one photo of each of you, and let AI redraw the couple with your faces while the moves, camera, lighting and sound stay as in the original. In vswp you can start from a ready couple scene in Trends or upload a clip you have the right to use. Nothing needs to be filmed, and a short free preview shows your faces before you pay.

Which romantic scenes work best?

Not every love scene is easy for AI. The best ones have two people who stay in view and face the camera a fair part of the time. Look for:

  • Both of you clearly visible. Each person should take up a good part of the frame, not stand far away in the dark.
  • Faces that are not always hidden. A long kiss in profile or a hug where one face is buried in a shoulder gives the AI little to work with. A scene with a few looks into the camera works better.
  • A calm camera. Slow pans and steady shots keep faces sharp. Very fast cuts and spinning shots are harder.
  • The key moment within 30 seconds. Each video covers one part of up to 30 seconds, with the original sound.
Easier couple scene Harder couple scene
A walk, a dance, a drive, a toast A long kiss filmed side-on
Both faces visible most of the time One face hidden in a hug for most of the clip
Good light, day or evening A dark room lit by one candle
A steady or slow camera Whip pans and quick cuts

Which ready couple scenes can you start from?

The fastest way is a trend where both people are already found, so you only add photos:

New scenes appear in the Trends library over time, so it's worth a look before you upload your own.

How do you make the video, step by step?

  1. Ask your partner. You'll use their photo, so check they're happy with it, and ask again before you post.
  2. Sign in. Open vswp.app and sign in with Telegram. There's no password to create, and your partner doesn't need an account.
  3. Pick the scene. Choose a trend, or upload your own video: 1 to 120 seconds, up to 150 MB, any common format. The person search runs on the first 30 seconds automatically, usually in a couple of minutes, and it's free. In a longer video, you can choose another part of up to 30 seconds.
  4. Put each photo on the right card. Your photo on one person, your partner's on the other. A card without a photo stays as in the original.
  5. Choose the look. Decide whether to keep the clothes from the scene (see below).
  6. Try the free preview. Press "Make the free preview" to see a few seconds with both your faces, at 480p with a small "vswp.app" mark.
  7. Make the full video. Check the estimated time and the price, choose 480p or 720p, and press "Create the full video".
  8. Download or share. You get an MP4 with the original sound. On a phone you can share it straight to Telegram or your stories.

Who plays whom?

You decide. The roles don't have to match the original: put your own photo on either person, and swap if you prefer it the other way round. Same-sex couples can take any two roles too.

You also don't have to replace both people. Put only your partner into the scene as a surprise, or only yourself next to the original actor. One person usually costs less than two.

Which photos should you use?

For each of you, pick one sharp photo of just that person, in good light, with the whole face visible and no sunglasses. Similar photos for both partners help the result look balanced.

Then decide on "Keep the original look":

  • On. The clothes from the scene stay, and only faces and hair change. Good for period films, costumes and evening dress you don't own. A clear portrait of each of you is enough.
  • Off. Your clothes, hair and silhouette come from your photos. Use a full-body photo of each person, because a portrait cannot show clothing it doesn't contain.

What about kisses, hugs and dancing close?

Close contact is the hardest part of any couple video. When two faces touch or one turns away, the AI sees less of each person, so likeness and hands can drift in those seconds. It helps to:

  • pick a part of the scene where you are close but both faces still show;
  • use photos where the face is large and front-facing;
  • make another take if one moment looks off. Pressing "Create video" again makes a new take, which is a new render.

If one of you doesn't look right, see what to do when an AI face swap doesn't look like you.

How much does it cost?

The free preview costs nothing. The full video is paid in Telegram Stars (⭐). The price depends on the length, the quality and how many people you replace, and the exact price is shown before you start. Stars are taken when a render starts and returned automatically if it fails or is canceled.

FAQ

Can I put me and my girlfriend or boyfriend into a real movie scene?

Yes, if you have the right to use that clip. Upload it, give each of you a photo, and the rest of the scene stays as in the film. Ready scenes in Trends need no upload at all.

Does my partner need to sign up?

No. Only the person making the video signs in with Telegram. Your partner just sends a photo and agrees to its use.

Can I make it as a surprise?

You can make the video without telling them, but use their photo only if you know they'd be fine with it, and ask before you post it anywhere. Our guide to consent and safety in face swaps has more on this.

Will the music from the scene stay?

Yes. The result keeps the original audio of the part you processed.
