What is the One Desire pilot transition?

It's a glow-up joke with a uniform. The first part is the everyday version of you, singing along to the song. Then the drop hits and you are suddenly in the captain's seat, cap pulled low, dark glasses on, one hand on the brim as if posing for a crew photo. The contrast between the ordinary room and the instrument panels is the whole point.

It's a cousin of the Jakarta One Desire room-to-street transition: same song, same idea of a cut on the beat, but here the second half lands in a cockpit instead of a night street. People find it as the One Desire pilot trend, the pilot transition, the cockpit glow-up or simply the One Desire trend with the pilot cap.

Where does the original video come from?

The song is One Desire by Jakarta, a French electro house team; it came out in 2008, and the version in the trend is the Mondotek Radio Edit. On TikTok it became a sound for transitions, where the hook marks the moment of the cut.

The clip on vswp comes from a TikTok posted in October 2026 by the account @nopowerbaank. Whether that was the very first pilot version of the transition has not been confirmed, so this page describes only what the clip shows.

Who and what is in it?

There is one performer, so vswp has one card to fill. The clip runs about 15 seconds, filmed vertically:

• The room. The performer lip-syncs to One Desire indoors, an ordinary moment before the change.
• The cut. On the beat the video jumps, with the original transition effect kept in place.
• The cockpit. She sits in a pilot's seat of an airliner cockpit with clouds and blue sky in the windows: long dark hair, black sunglasses, a black pilot cap with a gold cord and badge, a black blazer over a sheer black top. One hand touches the cap, the other holds the lapel. A second person's hand rests on the controls at the edge of the frame; they are not replaced.

The template replaces the performer's face, hair and clothing with the person from your photo in both parts. The black pilot cap with its gold details stays from the original in the cockpit part, so the uniform joke still reads.

How to make the One Desire pilot transition with AI

Which photo works best?

• A sharp face in good light. The cockpit shot is a close, front-facing pose, so a clear photo looking at the camera works best, with nothing over the face.
• Hair that shows. The cap sits on top of your hair, and long or short hair both work; a photo where your hairline and the length are visible helps the AI fit the cap naturally.
• No hat, no glasses. The video adds its own cap and sunglasses. A photo without headwear or sunglasses keeps your own features clear.
• Your own outfit. For your clothes instead of the blazer, turn "Keep the original look" off and use a waist-up or full-body photo of just you.
• Hands near the face. The hand on the cap brim is close to the face; generative AI can need another take when fingers look odd.
