What is the BOM BOM BOM kitchen dance?
It is a solo dance video with a twist in the middle. The first seconds look like a casual sing-along to the camera; then the routine gets acrobatic, with flips, a handstand, leg rotations and floor moves, and it ends with the dancer lying still on the floor. That build-up is why people share it as a "wait for it" video: the payoff comes after the calm start.
The original clip carried an on-screen caption with an eye emoji over the ceiling. In this template the caption and emoji are removed, so your version shows a clean ceiling with its wooden beams. The original music and timing stay.
Where does the original video come from?
We could not confirm who posted the first version, so this page does not name the dancer or link a source. What the clip shows: one continuous handheld take of about 16 seconds in a large room with an open kitchen, light wooden cabinets, white appliances, a wooden chair by the table, ceiling panels in wooden frames, gray carpet and a dartboard on the right wall.
Who and what is in it?
There is one person to replace: the dancer in a blue-and-tan plaid shirt over a white knit skirt. The clip moves through three parts:
- The opening: the dancer faces the camera close up, singing along and swaying, with the kitchen behind.
- The middle: the routine turns acrobatic, with flips, a handstand and leg rotations across the carpet, the camera following by hand.
- The ending: floor moves that finish with the dancer lying face down and still. Your version keeps the same person through this ending; the original dancer does not come back.
The template has a single card. It takes one photo, so the whole video is about you.

Which photo for the dancer?
The video starts with a close-up of the face, so a sharp, well-lit photo matters most. With "Keep the original look" off, use a full-body photo of one person: the dancer is upside down and on the floor for much of the clip, and a photo that shows your trousers and shoes lets them stay the same through every flip. If your photo stops at the waist, the lower half has to be filled in, and the result is plainer.
Upside-down heads, hands on the floor and fast spins are the hardest moments for generative AI, and the final floor moves can land about a second later than in the original. Check those moments in the preview before making the full video. More tips are in the photo guide, and for a friend's version read the guide to consent and safety first.
