What is the Car Drift trend?
It's a one-person gesture clip. Instead of a real car, the hand is the car: held flat, palm down, fingers pointing forward, it sweeps toward the lens and turns, the way you'd mime a car sliding sideways through a corner. The man stays almost still behind it and looks straight into the camera, so the joke lives in two things at once: the hand doing the drift in front, and the calm face right behind it.
That setup is why it suits a face swap. The face is large and sharp for most of the 8 seconds, and the whole clip is a single shot, so your version reads instantly: it's you, deadpan, drifting your own hand through a parking lot. You'll find it on the Car Drift trend page.
Where does the original video come from?
We could not confirm the original post of this clip, its author, its date or its sound, so this page doesn't link a source and doesn't name the man in it. "Car Drift — Custom Scene" is the name the clip has on vswp. Car and drift edits are a popular genre on short-video apps, but we don't attribute this clip to any particular trend without proof.
What the video itself shows: a horizontal phone video shot handheld at night, in a large, almost empty parking lot lit by tall floodlights.
Who and what is in it?
The trend page lists one person you can replace.
- The man in white. The only role: a white long-sleeved robe buttoned at the collar, a white headscarf, thin-framed glasses, a mustache and a short beard. He stands in the center of the frame, facing the camera, at chest height.
- The hand. His right hand fills a large part of the frame and is blurred by motion as it moves: flat and pointed at the lens, then turning to the side. It is part of his role, so it changes with the swap.
- The setting. A wide, empty parking lot at night: gray asphalt with white lines, yellow parking stops, a tall floodlight pole on the left, a long metal railing and a few dark cars far behind, lights of buildings on the horizon. It stays as it is.
- The camera. A handheld shot at face height, close enough that the hand almost touches the lens.
How to make the Car Drift trend with AI
- Open the Car Drift — Custom Scene trend and sign in with Telegram. There is no password.
- Give a photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP) to the man in white. That's the only person in the clip.
- Decide on "Keep the original look". On, the white robe and headscarf stay and only the face and hair change; off, the clothes come from your photo.
- Press "Make the free preview" to see about 5 seconds at 480p with a small "vswp.app" mark; every new user gets one.
- Press "Create the full video". The price in Telegram Stars depends on length, quality and number of people and is shown before you start; the Stars come back if a render fails or is canceled.
- Download the MP4 at 480p or 720p with the original sound, typically ready in minutes, and share it.
By starting a video you confirm you have the right to use it and the photo; ask a friend before using theirs. More clips are in the trends list.
Which photo for each role?
- Face first. The face is close to the camera for the whole clip, so a sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo matters most. A head-and-shoulders shot works well.
- Headscarf and hair. With "Keep the original look" on, the white headscarf stays and covers your hair, so only your face carries the likeness. If you want your own hair or cap to show, turn it off and use a photo where your hair is clearly visible.
- Glasses. The man wears glasses. If you don't, a photo without glasses helps keep your face yours; if you do, a photo where the eyes are clearly visible through them is safest.
- The hand. The hand moves fast and sits right in front of the lens. Generative AI can need another take on fast hands, so check the free preview before making the full video.
