Yes. The two uploads have different jobs. The background photo guides the location, scenery and lighting; the car photo guides the vehicle's model, colour and shape. Upload your car under “Car”, even if the photo also shows a location. Its surroundings are not intended to replace the background.
You can change only the car and keep the original setting, change only the background and keep the original supercar, or supply both photos. For example, use a photo of your own vehicle and a separate photo of a city at night. To return either part to the original, remove its selected photo and save the settings.
The person, background and car references are used in the same video generation. You don't need to create a background video or a car video first.
Which photos should I upload?

For the car, use a clear view showing the vehicle's body, with as little obstruction as possible. For the background, choose a setting with visible ground and a plausible place for a car. Separate, simple references are easier to interpret than collages. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported; each background or car image can be up to 20 MB.
