What is the Cliff Rescue trend?
It is a dramatic little film about saving someone, and in its most popular form, about saving yourself. In the AI cliff rescue format one woman pulls another up from a wet basalt edge above the ocean, and creators give both roles the same face: the stronger self rescues the struggling one. In this version the rescue is over and the aftermath is on screen. Where does the original video come from?
The cliff rescue, or "save yourself", format is AI-generated and spread in September 2026 as a ready-made AI template; we have not confirmed who made the first video, so this page does not link a source, and the women in it are not known public figures. The trend's name refers to its sound, "Training Season", which is also the title of Dua Lipa's 2024 single. What is clear from the frame is the scene: dark rocky coast, low cloud and two women, one in a brown wrap coat over a brown turtleneck, one in a wet white shirt and beige trousers.
Who and what is in it?
There are two people, and you can replace one or both:
- The rescuer. The woman on the right in the long brown coat, calm and steady, her hair wet from the spray. She holds the other close and handles her coat belt.
