What is the ATM Money Rain trend?
It is a fake "caught on camera" moment. The camera hangs high in the corner of a small ATM vestibule, the way a real security camera would, and everything is in grainy black and white: the glass door, the grey wall, the cash machine with its lit slot. A woman in a long fur coat, glasses and a hair clip is crouched in front of it, stuffing bills into her arms as fast as she can, while the machine keeps spitting out more and the floor disappears under a carpet of notes.
The joke is the fantasy everyone has at least once: the ATM breaks in your favor. People post their versions as "me on payday", "when the bank finally makes a mistake my way" or "my budget for the weekend", and the surveillance-camera look makes it read like footage that really happened. It is searched as ATM money rain, ATM glitch, money rain AI, ATM spitting money, the CCTV cash trend and the ATM jackpot video.
Where does the original video come from?
The clip is AI-generated. We have not confirmed who made this version or where it first went viral, so this page does not link a source, and the woman in it is not a known public figure. It belongs to a wider wave of AI "money rain" and fake ATM clips: in late 2025, for example, fact-checkers in South Africa reported that viral videos of notes spilling out of an ATM were made with AI, not caused by a bank glitch. No bank is named or shown in this trend, and the notes look like generic dollar bills.
Who and what is in it?
There is one person to replace: the woman at the ATM. In the original she has long dark hair with a small clip, glasses and a big shaggy fur coat. The clip moves through a few moments:
- The payout. She leans into the machine as bills shoot out of the slot.
- The scramble. She grabs armfuls of cash and hugs them to her coat, turning back and forth between the slot and the floor.
- The pile. The money keeps coming until the whole floor of the vestibule is covered.
Your version keeps the same vestibule, black-and-white security-camera look, angle and sound; only the person changes.
How to make the ATM Money Rain with AI
- Open the ATM Money Rain trend and sign in with Telegram. There is no password.
- The person at the ATM is already found. Give them your photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP).
- Decide on "Keep the original look". On, the fur coat and glasses stay and only the face and hair change; off, the look comes from your photo.
- Press "Make the free preview" to see about 5 seconds at 480p with a small "vswp.app" mark; every new user gets one.
- Press "Create the full video". The price in Telegram Stars is shown before you start, and the Stars come back if a render fails or is canceled.
- Download the MP4 at 480p or 720p with the original sound, typically ready in minutes.
By starting a video you confirm you have the right to use it and the photo, so ask a friend before you make them the star of an ATM jackpot. More clips are in the trends list.
Which photo works best?
- Your face from a slightly higher angle is fine. The camera looks down from the ceiling and the face is turned partly away, so a clear photo with your face and hairline well visible matters more than a perfect front view.
- Hair counts. From this angle the hair is one of the most visible parts of the person, so a photo that shows your hairstyle well helps the result look like you.
- Full body for your own outfit. With "Keep the original look" off, a full-body photo of one person carries your coat or jacket and silhouette best; a big coat or a hoodie reads well in black and white.
- One person in the photo. A group shot can mix up who ends up at the ATM.
